Owned and operated in Australia for over 60 years, Country Cooked International is a division of University Food Group. We specialise in sous vide and oven cooked proteins. Our premium meats and flavours are the star of any meal and exported across the world.

We source meats from all over Australia to deliver the best quality product. Through our state-of-the art sous vide process, we cook the finest protein which has a shelf life of up to 16 weeks chilled or perfect as a frozen thaw back product. The combination of our expertise, history of delivering, and demand for Australian produce makes us the perfect export partner.

Proteins can be supplied naturally flavoured or marinated and then slow-cooked for up to 18 hours. The result is tender, delicious and full of flavour.

We adhere to the HACCP base Quality Assurance System accredited by Prime Safe and are also SQF, AQIS and Halal certified (dependent on  specific country regulations). Purchasing our products provides reassurance of receiving the best quality meats and also that we meet all processing standards to the highest degree.

Conventional cooking significantly reduces protein weight as the juices evaporate. This creates yield loss and impacts on the taste of products.

Through our slow-cooked sous vide process there is minimal weight loss resulting in receiving more for your money plus a higher quality product.

RESTAURANT QUALITY PRODUCTS

We not only supply products to the food service industry but also create grocery retail products. We have several established brands but can develop bespoke brands for any market.

Country Cooked retail products currently come in 300g and 1kg packs. Our 300g packs have the convenience of a tray to re-heat in a microwave, oven or air fryer. We have the flexibility in both retail and food service to cater for various packaging options and sizes.
