Slow cooked succulent chicken thigh in a sweet soy Teriyaki glaze
Succulent boneless Chicken marinated in Teriyaki sauce then slow cooked sous vide style for tenderness, this Japanese favourite is incredibly simple to prepare making it the perfect home meal.

Teriyaki Chicken Poke Bowl

Ingredients

300g Teriyaki Chicken
2 cups cooked sushi rice
2 carrots, shredded
1 cup red cabbage, thinly sliced
1 cup edamame beans, cooked
1 tbsp sesame seeds
4 tbsp Kewpie Japanese mayonnaise

Method

      1. Heat Teriyaki Chicken according to preferred cooking method.
      2. Heat rice as suggested pack instructions.
      3. Serve chicken on top of rice
      4. Arrange following around your bowl, add the carrots, red cabbage, edamame beans and then the chicken. Spoon over any extra teriyaki sauce and scatter sesame seeds over chicken.
      5. Add Kewpie mayo and serve immediately.
      6. Serves 4.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

MICROWAVE OVEN

  1. Empty contents from the bag and place onto a microwave proof dish.
  2. Microwave on HIGH for 6 minutes.
  3. Stand for 2 minutes then heat for an additional 4 minutes.
  4. Stir well to ensure heated throughout and serve.

OVEN

  1. Preheat oven to 180⁰C fan forced or conventional.
  2. Empty contents from the bag onto an oven proof dish. For best results ensure to separate the portions of chicken when placing in the dish.
  3. Place the product on the middle rack of the oven and cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Turn product over half way through to ensure even heating of the product.

AIR FRYER

  1. Preheat air fryer to 200⁰C.
  2. Empty content from the bag and place in an air fryer.
  3. Heat the product for 10 minutes.
  4. Turn product over and heat for further 5 minutes.

PAN/BBQ

  1. Empty contents from the bag into a non-stick pan.
  2. Place on medium heat for approx. 10 minutes.*
  3. Turn product over half way through to ensure even heating.

* Due to varied temperature, care needs to be taken to ensure products is fully heated through. For best results, we recommend using oven or pan/BBQ.
