A classic pork dish found in any quality Korean restaurant, this is slow cooked, sous vide style, pork with a slightly spicy and sweet, pickled vegetable kimchi at its best. It’s Asian fusion in a flash! Epically Korean!

PORK & KIMCHI WITH ASIAN GREENS, OYSTER SAUCE & RICE

Ingredients

300g Pork & Kimchi
1 cup long grain or sushi rice
1 bunch of Asian greens (you can use bok choy, gai lan or even broccolini). Slice bok choy or gai lan lengthways, trim ends off broccolini
3 garlic cloves, peeled and sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce

Method

  1. Heat Pork & Kimchi according to preferred cooking method.
  2. Cook rice as suggested pack instructions.
  3. Place cucumber diced and oil into bowl and mix well to combine.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Then add Asian greens and oyster sauce and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes or until just tender but still crisp.
  5. Add rice to base of serving bowls, top with Pork & Kimchi and Asian greens.

There you have it another epic meal in under 15 minutes!

MICROWAVE OVEN

  1.  Remove from outer box and pierce once in middle of tray.
  2. Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes.
  3. Stand for 1 minute, remove film, taking care as hot steam may escape.
  4. Stir well, ensuring product is thoroughly heated through and serve.

AIR FRYER

  1. Preheat air fryer to 190⁰C.
  2. Remove from outer box and remove film on tray.
  3.  Place tray in air fryer for 4-5 minutes, then turn returning to air fryer for a further 4-5 minutes.
  4. Remove from air fryer. Allow to stand for 3 minutes.

OVEN

  1. Preheat oven to 180⁰C (160⁰C fan forced).
  2. Remove from outer box and remove plastic film on tray.
  3.  Place on baking tray and cook for 7 minutes, then turn and return to oven for a further 7 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven. Allow to stand for 5 minutes.

PAN/SAUCEPAN

  1. Remove from outer box and remove film on tray.
  2. Pre-heat Pan/Wok to medium. Add product and turn product frequently for 6-8 minutes.
  3. Remove from Pan/Saucepan. Allow to stand for 1 minute.

COOKING NOTES
